Welcome to this blog about how to manage the overuse of social media and the use of your mobile.

I find that balance is the key as we get addicted to seeing every post that arrives on our mobile relating to social media when your phone is on and this becomes a distraction to your daily routine unless you have a business where you are promoting on social media and are maybe expecting a message.

Even with I recommend switching your phone for either 30 minutes or 1 hour periods and then on again for the same period again unless you are waiting for an urgent call.

you will feel the difference of avoiding the constant need to look at a box and will interact with humans in your environment in the present moment instead of virtual chats.

Also you will get more things done either on your laptop if working from home or have more time to interact with people on a face to face basis.

So give this a go and see how you feel and this will create a more enjoyable habit of just looking at social media and your phone in gaps as it will give you something to look forward to by catching up in gaps then having the mobile and social media control most of your day.  This will give you more of a balance in your day.
