There are many different benefits of meditation which can and are used on a daily basis. Meditation is a form of calming the mind when it may be over stressed with so much going on in your life and also can be used as a form of clearing thoughts and memories which may re-playing in the mind.
It can also be used to bring one to a state of zero in the present moment if you feel overwhelmed in any situation and to bring your self control instead of letting the mind control you.
I have found that getting to a state of zero is the method for me as this brings inner calmness to the mind and the body thus being at one with yourself.
Everyone will find that meditation will work in different ways for them depending on their current situation however it is how you maintain and use meditation that will benefit you.
First thing in the morning to get you ready for your day and also last things at night for about 10 minutes or more it is up to you as you clear the day,s emotions before you go to bed and want to sleep in a positive frame of mind. Even during the day if you have time to give yourself 5 minutes to get back to a state of zero or oneness works wonders also.
